The same artist who brought Stratford the wonderful new mural on the public Works Building on East Main street is bring a new art installation to raise awareness about Kidney disease.
Kidney Disease is a problem we have solutions for. Kidney disease currently effects more than 1 in 7 individuals in the United States. On average, 140 people die each day of kidney disease. A healthy person can comfortably live with one kidney. This traveling installation will be a series of 10 clotheslines with 14 T-shirts on each. Every T-shirt represents a person who lost their life to life to kidney failure in the USA. Each shirt is unique with an abstract paint splatter motif representing kidneys.
